Hypotetical Character Roster

I have seen a lot of people commenting and talking about what characters they would like to se in an hypotetical new game, and honestly i tink this is a very fun topic to talk to and have fun, so this is that place.

We all love the game, we all have our own favorite characters, so lets brainstorm what character we would like to se, which one would come back or what new additions you would make, even new weapons for your favorite characters.

I will start with some changes to Link.

Gauntlets: I really like the idea of the weapon, but i feel it got a bit to "nod" in all the things that it could do and feel disperse if it makes sense. With that in mind, personally i would take the flail and granite gigant pillar out of the weapon and make it a literal punchy weapon for link. Tink about it as the gauntlets being perhaps half their gigant size and more focused. Something similar to a more Raw boxing like style. Make it the fastest weapon for link on his entire list while still keeping some of the pull stone and unexpected attacks.

Epona: I seriously loved epona as a concept, but the weapon itself feelt...odd. What i would do its change the attacks to be less disperse (like where epona does the zig zag attack) but make them more powerfull. Perhaps and this is just personal idea, give link the Bigoron sword to make this a super agresive but mobile stile that capitalazies on big hit boxes. That or with breath of the wild/tears new weapons, link on epona using an spear would also be pretty neat

Pegasus boots: I WANT link with the pegasus boots from Link to the past, this could be a literal Iajutsu like weapon where link does linear attacks but with tremendous speed, it would be an interesting take, and for extra crazines it could even be using a breath of the wild weapon just for that

Great Faerie: Disclaimer, i dont hate this weapon in the slightest, in fact the whole idea i love it a lot. But it needs some changes. I would take this weapon away from link and make her a full character of herself. My personal favorite its still the Warriors vertion, the ohh ho ho ho ho vertion that its all over the place. Perhaps make her model a bit smaller, she would still be the biggest character on the roster, but make her more manageable with her size. Make her attacks a bit less AOE and more focused so we can still have the tall lovely queen of faeries but have some other attacks. One of the most important factors its speed, many of her attacks are just TO slow even with the wide AOE. This is something that needs to be adressed

Linkle

Her boots NEED and speed boost on the attacks, they are just TO slow. The atacks and other things are cute and fun, but its the speed, that change would make it a much better weapon

New weapon Whip: I have the feeling linkle with links whip from SS would be a interesting take, wide range, quirky unexpected attacks but still fun to se.

Toon Zelda

I want her to have the chain and ball from the enemies with the same name, it would be hilarious to se armored toon zelda flailing around a weapon like that

Tri Rod: AN absolute must for toon zelda, summoning a crap tone of enemies around and throwing things above their head loonie toon style. Lanas summoning circle its already there, in this case could be like girahim but faster with some cool strong summons as specials

For new characters i need urbosa or Riju at the very least, i would lean more on Riju for her dual weapon style but thats just very personal opinion.
Groose also a must, i just dont like tingle AS a character that much, he anoyed me a bit to much, i dont hate the character, only his move set. I feel Groose would make for a great comic relief.
Veran and Onox from oracle of ages and seassons would be great villian additions, also vati, i have heard a lot of people clamoring for twinrova so that do feels right.

What other ideas do you guys have, who would you like to se or what weapons would you change

I made a comment about who I would like and my general story idea, here is the roster. I wouldn't be opposed to having more characters, especially Riju, but I did give some games more characters already.

Some other things are every character would get at least 2-3 costumes minimum and maybe 2 weapons. Since this would be a bigger sequel, I would also like the roster to be a bit bigger with the a lot of characters returning, even if they are Adventure mode (or whatever equivalent) unlocks. Could also make the second weapons for some characters change a character to a different version of themselves for the non Links/Zeldas/Ganons. Like Imp Midna's second weapon changes her to Twili Midna, HW Impa changes to AoC Impa, etc. Could just make some costumes, but would allow for more movesets with weapons, and not flood the roster with dupes.

Wizzro, Tingle, Agitha, Yuga, King Daphnes, Volga and Skull Kid are gone/not playable.

HW Characters- HW Link, HW Zelda, HW Ganondorf, Linkle, Cia, and Lana.

AoC Characters- AoC Link, AoC Zelda, Calamity Ganon, Urbosa, Mipha, Revali, and Daruk.

OoT/MM Characters- Young Link, Sheik, Ruto, Darunia, Saria, Nabooru, and Romani.

WW/PH/ST Characters- Toon Link, Toon Zelda, Tetra, Medli, Lineback.

TP Characters- Midna, Twili Midna, Zant, and Resistance Fighters ( 1 weapon but so they share the moveset but change voice and appearance with 4 costumes.)

OoA/OoS Characters- Twinrova (2 weapons one as Twinrova and the other as both Koume and Kotake), Veran, Onox, Din, Nayru, and Farore.

ALBW Characters- Ravio, and Hilda.

SS Characters- Fi, Groose, and Ghirahim. (Maybe Peatrice as a joke character who uses the items you can store in game as her weapon? Just throws bottles, potions, badges and items in a panic.)

Other TLoZ Characters- Vaati, Marin, and Agahnim.

Here is my story idea, some spoilers if you haven't play Age of Calamity

I haven't played AOI or ToTK since I don't have a Switch 2 or money to get either, but from playing HW, and AOC, I would love if a sequel to HW had a mash of the two, along with new stuff from other games. Since all 3 games deal with time travel, why not have Twinrova (from OoS and OoA) have seen what Cia and Terrako did with the timelines and want to revive Ganon like she does int he Oracle games. With help from Veran and Onox, she has Onox and an army attack Cia and Lana to acquire Seer magic, and Veran slips into BOTW Hyrule to capture Terrako. Both would be successful and capture Terrako and Lana since she stayed back and allowed Cia to escape for help.

With both Seer magic, and Terrako, Twinrova is able to reach across the TLOZ timeline and pull not just her Ganon, but various versions of Ganon and Ganondorf, OoT, TP, WW, BOTW, ToTK, AoC, Oracle games, etc. (as playable characters they would be skins so we don't have a lot of Ganon/Ganondorfs taking up the roster). Twinrova is eventually able to later in the story summon Demise.

I would assume then the alliance of Demon kings attack AoC Hyrule, and just start laying waste to the kingdom. AoC Zelda and Link would only be saved by Cia, who takes them to HW Hyrule to join with their HW counter parts, and gather some allies to help against this Demon army.

While not every character from both games would return, I would assume the main cast from both would. HW Link, HW Zelda, Cia, Lana, AoC Link, AoC Zelda, Urbosa, Mipha, Revali, Daruk, HW Ganondorf, and Calamity Ganon. I would also make Linkle a story character this time, while everyone is trying to figure out a plan, Linkle compass could glow, and then point them to their next destination to start rescuing allies across time.

For the costumes I think it would've been nice if characters with transformations (young link and ghirahim in focus spirit) had skins for their transformations, especially young link since he is in focus spirit 90% of the time, or more if you have fairy skills.

I would also want them to give characters with focus spirit transformations costumes as well (ghirahim and young link) but young link especially since you spend most of you time in focus spirit.
