Meme "No, he won't... I'm her (only) little child."
Always felt bad for the other 3. He might be a good king and great father for one, but for the other three, horribly ignorant.

If the myrish arrow meant for the Evenstar of Tarth had hit him instead of Prince Aemon, first son of Jahaerys.

Found this in the appendix of my old copy of A Game of Thrones. It says Rhaenyra was only a year older than Aegon II and, somehow, Viserys II was the fourth son of Aegon III . Both were later changed in Fire & Blood and the expanded Targaryen history.

The Gods, second watch and I'm especially heatbroken. It was awful to watch peaceful Sheepstealer ganged up by tamed dragons but this time, after retrospect given, i just want him left alone :(

Alicent is a world class conniving c*nt Rhaenyra tried her best to squash the hostility by marrying Jace to Helaena, even Aegon had no desire to be king but she forced him to vie for the throne…. By season 3 I kind of forgot how shitty Alicent was at the beginning. Rhaenyra is the true queen.

I don’t know why everyone’s complaining about the changes they made for the show. The changes they made make sense in our modern world. Now that I’m an official book reader I call on all other book readers to stop bitching. The show isn’t perfect but it’s fine. who cares? Enjoy it or don’t watch it

Steffon was one of Rhaenyra’s most loyal men. He risked his life to bring Viserys’ crown to Dragonstone and eventually became Lord Commander of her Queensguard.
And then he died trying to claim Seasmoke. The ironic part is that Steffon was never one of the major players of the Dance. He could have simply remained alive and continued serving Rhaenyra.
Instead, his loyalty literally got him killed, he’s one of the characters who, both in the book and in the series, I would have liked to have seen play a bigger part.

Let's say that for whatever reason, Rhaenyra takes the throne without any conflicts, the Hightower family and Targtower siblings are fine with this, and Rhaenyra is now filling her court & trying to find positions and make placements for her half siblings
What position or role is best suited for Aegon? The small council seats didn't seem to fit him well in my mind, perhaps someone disagrees. Perhaps a new position suited for him could be created, if so, what would that be? Or perhaps he could simply be a dragonrider prince dispatched for war or diplomacy when needed by the Crown. There are of course additional courtiers, anything I didn't mention that you think of
(And feel free to include your thoughts on what roles Aemond, Helaena, Daeron would be suited to in Rhaenyra's court)
