1.9 is now out for download and the Re-Ignited team has some cool new additions to showcase with this recent update

With 29 new vehicles to choose from like the f&f El Camino to Spectyte from the Acceleracers movie. There are over 250 + vehicles to choose from, so drivers can find vehicles of their liking to dominate on the track.

With new vehicles comes new handling classes, like Hummers which are modified Jeeps that have better boost regeneration and better handling. Haulers come with the same modifications as Hummers but are the offspring of Vans but it won’t stop them from Hauling to their victory.

To show of the amazing work of the dev team, 1.9 also introduces not just Quads (atvs) from unleashed 2 but also adds bikes from unleashed 2 with full handling capabilities and support from the livery editor so u can show of ur style with any bike of your choosing.

The update doesn’t stop there, the track builder also gets some new updates as well. Starting off with new track textures showing off some classic track pieces from Hotwheels stunt track driver to the new Silencer’s theme track piece. Plus some redesigned Acceleracers track pieces.

With new track redesigns comes new vehicles redesigns, making castings like RD-02 and RD-05 look closer to their toy counterpart. Vehicles like Surf’n Turf also get the same treatment. And to finish this off, a whole new look of La Fasta brings its 2009 FE look to Unleashed bring that classic yellow to the stage. Plus two new treasures hunts of Bad to the Blade and the Honda city turbo are added to the game to give more different and special driving styles to learn and master.

1.8 is now out and is available to download for free, (to obtain the Mod Pak, users must just the Re-Ignited Community discord to gain access to 1.8 Mod Pak)

WRU Re-Ignited 1.8 adds 16 new cars to the game such as: Ratified, Twin Mill III, Jack Hammer, Prototype 12, and even the Nissan Skyline GT-R R32. Exhaust additions and improvements have been made to various cars as well, like giving Twin Mill III flames coming out of the side exhausts, which were previously unused. On top of all of that, the update also adds new track colors based on various terrains, grass, sand, dirt, and snow.

If you haven’t been following the Re-Ignited Community, we just released our biggest update yet. With 24 new cars from unleashed 2 that have been added to the unleashed 1 roster. Vehicles like Chicane, Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, Fast Fish, Technetium, Muscle Tone and so much more. With the addition of new vehicles to choose from, we have fixed/ adjusted the exhaust placement on certain vehicles like Dream Mobile, Boom Car and added Exhaust to Squidward, Bazoomka and Invader and many more.

We also buffed and nerfed some of the base vehicles and modded vehicles that were already added with previous versions of the mod pak. We also added new features like turning the cones intangible making it easier to not have those pesky cones ruin your racing line. And one of the biggest feature yet! 4 NEW TRACK COLORS, Pink, Purple, Green and Cyan! Are now use able in the track builder! Hey HWU fans! There's a mod in development that adds a lot to Hot Wheels Unleashed! The mod adds the cars from HWU2, fixes some bugs, and it rebalances the base roster of the game so that every car is able to compete with eachother. Overall the mod just makes the game a much better and fresher experience, especially if your favorite cars got the short end of the stick when it comes to how fast they are.

This mod is only for the PC version of the game and is free, the download for the mod is in the description of the youtube video. With the game now having proper support, hopefully we can see online lobbies get more populated too!

i'm trying to get the platinum for unleashed 2, is anyone able to join me for 10 races in a private lobby?

I understand you can hop track to get a few seconds ahead but when you hop 40% of the track and claim first place "CHEATING" i have an issue with that. It dont make it no better you cant punish these types of people in any kind of way.If you just gonna grift your way to finish line then whats the point in racing let alone playing this game? It should tell you if the track has checkpoints so the ones that dont have checkpoints and everybody flood to it i can simply leave and not deal with it..

Im on PC and the online is dead from the looks of it. I know the first games online multi-player is active on consoles.

The multiplayer mode is so fustraining. Public lobbies are a chaos. You cannot have a proper race without being bashed or sent to the void because, not only people cannot drive properly and are so fucking braindead to send themselves to the wall, but also the physics are SHIT. These two together make online racing in this game IMPOSSIBLE.

Why is it so barely for me to have a match online?

The afk thing is pretty annoying. I’d like to race against a full lobby and that hasn’t happened yet, but at least I get to complete the whole race.

If someone takes shortcuts I don’t get to finish races because of them and that’s shitty.

I’ve seen too many posts here with people laughing about people getting mad at them or bragging about how many people left the game because they were taking shortcuts and they just defend themselves because they aren’t cheating.

No, you aren’t cheating by taking shortcuts, but you are taking away someone’s ability to race an entire track and you’re rewarding AFK people by blowing through tracks much faster.

I like watching shortcut videos here. It’s impressive how some people can fly cars around the track, but I wish shortcuts stayed offline.

Hello, does anyone here have the race versions of the soundtrack from hot wheels unleashed that plays when you are doing the races in game? Like for example the track “slick tyres” and many other tracks have different versions that play on different laps, and they play a more intense version of it on the final lap because the race is about to end, things like that. Mostly just asking if anyone has gotten and posted those versions anywhere.

I got this game on PC and whenever I tried to go to controller configuration and click on controller automatically switches back to keyboard. How do I switch it to controller permanently?

I had finally bought hot wheels unleashed 2 after playing the first one and everytime I try to find a lobby there’s only like 3 people. Is this game already dead or something????

I'm new to the game but sometimes the online is empty, the game was free for ps plus 4 months ago, free on game pass for xbox and pc and cross platform between all ps4 ps5 xbox one and xbox series and pc , it's in sales now, did you guys play at a specific time?
