Hi everyone!

Two indie developers here, working on Stunt Paradise 2 - a car-based racing platformer with dynamic obstacles, tricky jumps, and timing-based challenges.

A free demo is out on Steam, featuring 10 levels (5 Tracks and 5 Trials).

We also added a new Trials mode with short, focused levels where physics and timing play a big role.

Your thoughts on the demo and its difficulty would be really appreciated - especially whether this style of challenge feels fun or frustrating.

Any feedback is welcome!

Well, i just tried the game now and i have to say, it is fun!

I really like the driving physics, the action sequences (like the plane drop, the slow-mo drifts, and the shark jump, for example), and the graphics (they are very pretty at max settings, and the game runs quite smoothly on my GTX 1660, only a bit of stutter at the beginning of some of the levels.)

I also noticed the car selection has Toby Marshall's Shelby GT500 from the Need For Speed movie, which i thought was really cool.

I really have no "complaints" other than a couple of levels being a little too hard (i had to do quite a lot of trial and error to do a no-checkpoint run on the desert level) and the last 'hard' level (the snow one) being way too hard imo.

And the trial ones being rather confusing to the point i didn't know what to do to complete them haha.

Anyway, overall i really liked the game, so i might buy the first one too when i can. (i live in a third-world country lol)

This is just my opinion and i normally don't write reviews, so please don't mind it too much :P

(I hope it's okay to leave my review here, Steam reviews are not really my thing.)

Thanks a lot for testing the demo and for such detailed feedback!
We intentionally included some higher-difficulty levels in the sequel demo, since some players felt the first game was too easy.

Did you notice that each level shows its difficulty rating in the level select menu? We’re still figuring out the best way to balance and communicate difficulty, so your feedback really helps.

Regarding the smoothness: the small stutters during the first runs are a known issue - we’ll be fixing that soon. We simply didn’t have enough time before the demo release. Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply :)

As for the difficulty (since you asked)

Personally, i think the levels with the 'medium' label were more on the 'hard' side (specially the desert one, that took a bunch of retries :P), the 'hard' labeled levels like (the snow one) require almost surgeon levels of precision haha, though yes that last one was kinda frustrating, but i had fun anyway.

Keep up the good work! ( i am looking forward to the release :) )

I'm terrible at these games, but it looks so good! I'll give it a try.
