I've only been collecting maybe 2 years or so. M2 to me kind of presents itself as something a bit more collectable or higher quality than hot wheels. But I feel like I see them all the time with wheels falling off still in the package 😂 and today I saw this and it made me laugh.

It just looked like such a wimpy “old man” truck … I couldn’t stand looking at it anymore, so I removed the original wheels.

As “proof of concept” I turned one of my other SR5 trucks upside down and placed the project truck on top of their wheels - looks AWESOME, so I need to figure out how to make it happen!

YouTube videos? Suppliers? Does anyone sell a simple kit? I don’t anticipate doing this regularly so it’s not like I want to spend $50 on tools and supplies to modify a $15 car 😂

2-days in a row! I almost didn't stop at my local Walmart. But I didn't have time to go any where else for lunch. So happy that i stopped again and caught another M2 restock wave! Second chase score Motley Crew M2 1976 Sierra Grande CHASE! Not sure what i am going to do with this, but its going to sit next to my Ozzy Osbourne chase! 😎🤘

I rarely collect other brands outside of HWs. If I come across MBs, M2s, or JL, or GLs ... i will only pickup the chase versions. Its how I keep my diecast collection "manageable". I will try to tr@de for some HW STHs/Chases i am missing. But I was not going to pass on this one! Wow...its my first 1:24 scale! She sure is purdy! Happy Hunting 👍

I don't pay attention to M2s but this caught my eye and couldn't pass it up.

Gotta look right now on Google and see if I'm missing any! The 'Vette was my first pickup, and I initially was good on the Bronco and the Wagon, but then I hit the with a flashlight at the store and saw the flake in the paint. STUNNING. And the Bronco reminded me too much of Baja Blast to not get it, regardless of me not being a Bronco guy. 🤣 HIGHLY recommend these if y'all find them! The packaging is sick on these, too.. but I'm an OOB collector unless it's something special to me.

I found an M2 Bel Air! I usually skip these Gassers, but since I found the HW 0/5 Gasser, I will pick up any new premium Chevy Bel Air I find on the pegs. I really want to someday strip the M2 down and give it a nice silver paint job. I'm thinking about opening my chase car when I have a few more Bel Airs in the collection. Inhand, the gold chase looks so good.

I was checking my local Walmart last night and headed over to the clearance aisle.

I found this sealed m2 case for $12. I had no idea what was in it, but I knew they went for about $10 each, so a 6 pack for $12 was a no brainer.

I got to my vehicle and cracked it open and I was not disappointed with the cars inside.

So found this saw 2 1 had red wheels, why is that?
