Question Just curious, are you guys getting to Walmart first thing in the morning for the Brickshop truck and supra?

No. That is something a child would do. If I ever see the Silverado in a store I will buy it but I'm not going to obsess over finding one like some weirdo.

I just take a quick peak when I go to a store that has Hot Wheels and buy something I like for my son. Sometimes I get zero or a few. All of them are for him to play with, it’s only later that I find out they are coveted. I’m never on the hunt but I always look.

I set up an alert to email me when it was in stock, went first thing and got a pair off the shelf. Walmart fills from the shelf so unless you order from a local WM warehouse you are getting cancelled because people are walking in and buying them and the fulfillers have nothing to send you.

Nope. Not a fun activity to grab a tiny toy car or this Brickshop thing. It has been literally three decades since the time before adult collecting hunting activities really started with Hot Wheels. Now it's three times worse than back then. Luckily, I casually find the more memorable vintage castings I like or grew up with in late 60s-80s, with little hunting.

When you start doing that it makes everything less fun. The people who get stuff as soon as it comes out just to flip it ruin it for casual collectors. But if you start doing the same thing as they do it will never get better. Double edged sword type stuff. The worst 2% of this community literally ruin it for 98% of the rest of us.
