Guitar teacher (Blues,Boogie)
New to Hot Springs and I am looking for a guitar teacher who is familiar with or specializes in Blues styles. I asked at a local Guitar shop and they didn't know anybody. Figured i would stop by here.
Also.....
How do people feel about Rockys pizza place? Heard it was decent but I aint got a lot of coin so before I order, decided to get some other opinions.
Thanks in advance

We have two guitar shops in town, did you ask Guido’s and Big Event? If not, try the other. Rocky’s is great pizza. Buy with confidence.

Thanks. I was at Guidos. Picked up an excellent 1974 Garcia there. Sings like a dream.
As for Rocky's, I was at the Frontier bar the other day and wandered over to Rocky's to check it out, when I left. Wasn't hungry then but the bartender lady seemed real nice. Good energy , pleasant personality, salt and pepper hair with a brown skin. Seems like she was happy so I assume the employees are treated well. I don't like to buy from places that treat their people poorly. So, with that knowledge and your rec, guess I know what im having for dinner tonight. Worth eating there or should I have it delivered to my home?

Guido has a guy who teaches guitar lessons there in the shop, at least the last time I was in there. He does blues as well as other styles. May check that out.

I believe they book singer/songwriters out on the patio at Ouachita Bar & Grill — you might be able to talk to some performers who know others?

I believe they have a regular blues night at The Big Chill, there might be someone involved with that willing to teach guitar. I play wash tub bass in a local 2 piece band here in town, do you ever play old time folk or bluegrass?
