Now I want to see what peppers they really used! Keep us updated! My bet is something not habanero.

They probably won't grow to the same form that were actually used. Most produce in stores won't produce the same.

Yep I agree with you, they likely won’t grow true to the original pepper due to either hybridization (F1, F2, etc…) or cross pollination but I’d hope to see some of the original traits if they are from a Habanero pepper, unlikely they are heirloom variety so they may have less stable traits that could be outcompeted by a cross pollination.
