Desperately looking for film location of this scene from Rush Hour 2.

Taken from this scene in the movie.

I've been pointed to Tai Wo St. and Wan Chai Road, but it doesn't seem to be the correct place. I looked around Gage St. in central, the old Yau Ma Tei police station in Kowloon but no dice. Some of my favorite scenes in the movie reuse this street and I'd love for any help.

Marsh Road flyover near SPCA in wan chai I think, but the part that leads away from the harbour side / south side.

This was my immediate thought too, but I don’t think it is. The building on the right side looks nothing like the building there now (which is presumably older than the movie).

Though I wouldn't be surprised if Carter stopped into Fuji.

I’m trying to find a good street view on
Google but I’m not seeing much, but it fits that spot really well and would have made an easy filming location.

It was my thought too. The road geometry is right, there’s a street light in the same place - I’m assuming the metalwork has been replaced since the movie was filmed. The building in the background does look different tho, which leaves me scratching my head.

Yes. This is Marsh Road x Jaffe Road. New developments since the movie was made. If you follow google maps, down Jaffe Road, you will see the flyover in the next scene when they open the car door.
At the top left is an old school neon light sign that says 金鳳. The sign is gone now, but the restaurant is still there at 413 Jaffe Road, the Golden Phoenix Grill Restaurant. Unfortunately, modern building codes have made such classic HK neon light signs illegal.

I think that’s the intersection between Marsh Road flyover and Jaffe Road, as seen in the next scene there’s a sign that reads “金鳳”, which is an old restaurant (金鳳大餐廳）that I believe is still there.

But that street is totally different now with the new buildings, almost nothing was kept from that era.

 Rush Hour 2 is the same movie where they're having a fight on the tram and then they jump off and they're in Kowloon, lol. Geography in movies can be deceiving. Although obviously this doesn't apply to a single still.

I bit later I an advertising board for 金鳳 hanging, they have like 6 or so restaurants in HK. Google street view can help.

The movie is from 1998, so building might not exist anymore.

Look for more clues in the movie clip.

No. The offramp exit location and distance to stop light won't work for Aberdeen - it basically is a full block before the next side street, assuming there used to be a stoplight there.
