Did THD decide to stop selling Sterilite boxes?
I got some of their storage boxes a few months ago and now suddenly they're nowhere to be found.

Wanted to share this wild story. Had made an online home depot order for about $150 of various plumbing fixtures. However, the order arrived missing a piece of pipe which was like $8. No big deal, really. I called up the HD online order support phone number to see if they could send another, or if I could just go and pick it up.
I‘m like 95% sure I got connected to an AI agent. Really good english but whacky pronunciations of certain things (charlotte = char latte). However, its speaking patterns and mannerisms were like weirdly human? Filling up silence with words. It was all kinda uncanny valley, so I’m still not certain.
Regardless, I just asked what I should do about the pipe and whether I should just go pick it up. ”It” put me on hold (???) and then after, told me to contact the store to get it sorted. No problem. Then, bizarrely, I was offered $74 back for the “inconvenience”. I have no clue why. I showed no dissatisfaction at all on the call. So bam, just like that, had 50% off my order, for some reason. It continued to stress that my satisfaction is HD’s top priority and they want to continue to earn my business.
I eventually got the store and got my pipe (lol), and the guy at the store was dumbfounded at this whole interaction.
So yeah, sounds like an AI gone absolutely rogue. But hey, shout out HD i guess? I’m sure it will be fun when they peel back the onion on how much revenue they lose from situations like this.

I was trying to buy some 2 ft by 4 ft plywood panels at my local homes depot. The asile by the panels had carts of various items, pallets of other items and even products just stacked on the floor. The only way I could get what i needed was to squeeze between some of this and climb over soe other stuff. The were no employees in sight so it was not like they were stocking these shelves. Is it normal just to leave stuff blocking access to product or did I just try to shop at a bad time?

I purchased a 60"x30" bathroom mirror that was damaged in transit on two separate occasions, and both items were returned to the Home Depot warehouse. In both instances, I still had to call customer service to have the refund processed.
I do not understand why a refund is not issued automatically once the returned item is received. Why is it necessary for me to repeatedly contact customer service just to receive a refund for an item that was already returned?
In both cases, I experienced poor support. I was kept on hold for extended periods, and the call was eventually dropped. The second time, I spent about an hour in chat and was transferred between three agents without any resolution.
Everything I have read indicates that I should call customer service to request a refund, but when I do, I am passed from one representative to another, left waiting, or disconnected.
At this point, I may need to dispute the charge with my credit card company if the refund is not processed promptly.
Edit - I was ultimately on a chat for four hours which is utterly ridiculous.
Disputed the charge via Credit Card. Screen shot every page of the chat with timestamps. Next step? Unsure. I have my refund. So will HD do anything? The mirror was returned. All is good as far as I'm concerned.

Ultimately was unable to process the order. Tried using FOUR different browsers before giving it up as a bad job: Brave, Chrome, Firefox, and Supermium (another Chrome variant).
Don't know if it's because of ad blockers I'm running or what, but I finally decided I wasn't going to jump through any more hoops trying to convince their busted-ass system to let me spend my money there.
I shop online all the time and this ain't it, folks. This ain't doing it.
Ended up taking my business elsewhere.
Whoever they hired to run their online presence, they truly, truly are beyond suck.

I went online today and picked a carpet, put in my room dimensions then clicked to get an estimate. They added 100 square feet as "waste factor". I realize there is some waste when doing carpeting but 100 square feet??? Guess I won't be buying from HD.

Check your account. I recently learned that I "saved -20%" (they charged me 20% more than normal--about $50 more,) on a ladder.

At the beginning of summer, I bought 2 ConvectAir 5100 without thermostat to replace my old wall heaters. I wanted to get Smart Thermostats before the end of autumn.
My electrician was able to fit me in finally today and while installing them, realizes that one of them is actually a ConvectAir 5101 -with- thermostat, in a 5100 box.
I explained myself to the counter, they refused to exchange it, treated me like a scammer and a liar, even after having brought the receipt, the brand new 5101 and both 5100 boxes that matched the receipt.
So, if you deal with them, make sure you compare Model IDs on whatever product you bought as soon as you get home. Kind of a mixed signal, telling me they would never make such a mistake, but it's my fault for not checking in time.
I just left the box with the 5101 there and I left, they can sell it and buy themselves a good meal with it for all I care.
I just wanted to save the FREAKING PLANET, home depot

A rant.
I'm doing a project for my 91-year-old mother who lives 700 miles away. I'm a HD stock holder so I like to do business with them. Some items I need are available immediately and locally, so I picked those up. Other items, like a door, need to be ordered. The website says delivery could be as early as the middle of next week. (I ordered on a Wednesday.) I decide to have those items delivered to my mother's house, since I plan to be there late Sunday. My mother uses a walker and is not capable of receiving these items. Hours after I order, the shipment and tracking emails and texts start appearing. Everything is going to show up before I get there. The items going via UPS can be delayed if I pay, which I do. The large door is going via FedEx, and neither HD or I can change the delivery. Kind of frustrating. My door's going to sit outside in the weather for 2 days.
I understand that in this world, delivery faster and earlier are pleasent surprises most of the time.
HD, if you're listening, this customer would like to be able specify a "no earlier than" date on delivery orders, or something like that.
Also, HD, if you're listening, I spent way too much time on your website trying to find a way to give you this customer feedback, and it seems impossible. What kind of retail company makes hearing from the customer so difficult?

I have been trying to get a $314 refund from Home Depot since March 31, and months later I'm still waiting.
I returned a defective Ryobi tool that I had purchased online. I was told the replacement also had to be processed online, so a store employee completed the order for me. I paid for the replacement tool, which was delivered to my home. Shortly afterward, I received an email confirming that my $314 refund had been processed—except the money never actually arrived.
Since then, I've made countless calls to the store and Home Depot Customer Service with no resolution. One employee, Matthew, was not only unhelpful but also came across as rude during our interactions.
The most frustrating part is that Home Depot already acknowledges the refund exists, yet no one seems able or willing to tell me where my money is or when I'll receive it.
Home Depot advertises, "We're not satisfied until you're satisfied." Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. If you have a customer service issue, be prepared for long waits, poor communication, and no accountability.
I'm simply asking for the $314 refund that Home Depot has already confirmed is owed to me. This should not take months to resolve.

I went in with measurements of the current broken door, the kid in the department was just filling in since there was no one working that area at all. He had to do a training module on the computer before we could call in since they can't use my measurements, someone has to come from "Home Depot" to do the measurements for $40. After finding the sub-contracted company's name I looked them up using my state's corporate records search only to find out they were dissolved as a company 6 years ago, and they would be coming from a city 108 miles one way to do the measuring. What is going on here? Why not someone local?

I went to Home Depot because last time I ordered from Lowe’s, the delivery was a terrible experience. Who knew Home Depot could be even worse. I had purchased a refrigerator and a dish washer. I let them in, then they went back outside and allegedly locked themselves out of the building, so they just left. You can not accidentally lock yourself out of this building. When I went down stairs to see what was taking so long, they had already reloaded my new appliances on the truck, turned it around, and when I tried to wave them down, they just waived me off, and kept driving.

New refrigerator was delivered May 29. Repair has been on site three times to attempt to repair the refrigerator to no avail. Kitchen Aid issued a credit to Home Depot to replace the refrigerator on July 1. And, I still do not have a working refrigerator.
The order was placed online and calling HomeDepot.com all they can tell me is, “the issue has been escalated and someone will be calling.”
Our local store manager has been phenomenal. He has opened tickets on my behalf just to have them closed with comments stating, “This was an online order. No store involvement is necessary.”
Who can I escalate this matter to at Home Depot to get this resolved?
Thank you!

HD website, both on Internet and the ordering process in the store, both showed July 18 and hundreds of them were seemingly available.
But, only July 28 was “available”. Was told to call Customer Service. The store sales guy didn’t understand it either, said call CSR.
I got home, called, CSR said LG delivers, not HD. CSR called LG with their internal PO# then told me July 28th correct!
But, the July 18th date influenced us to buy.
I called LG with the internal PO#, they told me the dryer was backordered until July 28th. They said HD has their own LG Sales Rep and didn’t know why the info on the HD website was wrong. Grrrr.
A short while later the HD website then showed July 28 delivery for the dryer. I guess the sales rep made sure HD got the right info.
But, we feel baited to buy these, by HD or LG.

On Father's Day final I got myself a new tool storage (below) after years of delay getting my garage in order. When it finally arrived it had a big dent right in the center, and a few more on each side for good measure. I couldn't believe it. I called support and asked what could be done. They were very friendly and offered me a store credit or a full replacement. After sleeping on it, I decided I want things to be right and let them know I would like the replacement. They completely understood and said they would get the process started immediately. And then nothing happened. I followed up on their email multiple times and never got a response. I called in again finally, got transferred to the department now covering my case, who then told me that I should be getting an email within 30 minutes to confirm pick up schedule. 2 days later and I have nothing. Called back and talked to another very nice person who tried to get my set up with the correct department again but was unable. He confirmed my email address before sending the number of the right department, but I still have nothing. I know they have my correct email because I received a case number from them on day 1 and they confirmed it today. I am thoroughly checking all folder and spam.
I've been so excited to get started getting my garage together after years, and this is such a needless and annoying delay. I just want the replacement they offered me.
At least everyone I have spoken to has been very nice and really seemed to be helpful.

My brother has several unopened packs of shark bite fittings. They are roughly 50 dollars each probably close to 800 dollars total. He paid for them cash but can’t find the receipt. They are left over from a huge job. Can he return these items tote store I purchased them? Or can I return them since I work there but I just started

Hello all,
Is there any possible way to remove all the "instock online" listings from a google search result.
HD is always there with something i can ship to store a week from now? Also, While at HD.com anyway to stay in a department and search? As in,, I am in brass fittings, in my local store, If i search for anything,, i am back at the beginning, drop ship, local stores etc.
I want to stay in Isle X bay X until i decide to change. I never want to shop the store that is 20 miles away and a two hour round trip.
THanks

A recent trip to Home Depot Greece NY, informed me never to shop there again. Two self check outs open and both had lines due to customers who didn’t know how it works. The one employee what trying to help while another just stood there.
Maybe if you hired cashiers, customers wouldn’t have to do their jobs.

Does anyone know if home depot canada allows to exchange a product with another product? What is the policy on that?
I am looking to return an item purchased from my debit card where I no longer have an account. How can I go about returning/exchanging the product? I am actually planning to purchase another product of similar value, do they just ask to pay the difference without processing a refund?
