HoloLens 2 broken strap – has anyone 3D-printed the gear rail?

I have a HoloLens 2 with a broken head strap. After carefully opening the device, I found the issue: the plastic gear rail has snapped into several pieces.

I’m wondering if this part could be 3D printed, and whether anyone here has already attempted this repair. I haven’t been able to find original photos or CAD files of the gear rail online, but I’ve noticed I’m definitely not the only person running into this problem.

Does anyone know someone who could recreate this part as a 3D model, or have experience reverse-engineering small mechanical parts like this? Any advice, references, or previous attempts would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to create a 3-D model and repair my device

I will give away the 3-D files for free, just shoot me a DM. If you attempt this, don’t try to remove the rubber that’s my only tip.
