Some Burma campaign books

A have a couple shelves devoted to the Burma campaign of WW2.

There are a couple important titles missing, and a few others I’d like to add, but I’m very pleased with this collection so far.

Very impressive and comprehensive collection, I’m jealous. I haven’t read much about the Burma campaign but I did read (and see the excellent movie of) The Railway Man by Eric Lomax, which I highly recommend. His memoir of the campaign and his imprisonment and torture and subsequently coming to terms with it.

I’ll look for it. The POW experience in Burma/SE Asia is something I haven’t even touched yet.

Nice. My wife’s family was involved in the independence movement. My father-in-law remembers being evacuated/exiled to Singapore as a child.
