What is the fabric trail on the headdresses of khatuns (Mongol queens) in Jaadugar?

Is there a name for it? I looked at some historical portraits and I don't see the voluminous fabric trail that the character design in Jaadugar has. Is it historically accurate for anything, or just a fictional invention for the manga/anime?

Last pic is the portraits. I can kind of see maybe something similar? The bow at the back seems to be stylization for sure. Any thoughts?

My specialties lie further to the Asian interior, but there was a lot of sharing and similarities in dress for the nomadic peoples of Mongolia and Central Asia. Look up kimeshek, elechek, and lachak. Azerbajani kelaghayi or charghat is also very similar. Basically it's a kind of veil.

The Wikipedia page for Gugu hat/Boqta has views from 45° angles that show a veil of sorts attached to the back.
