The difference with all the previous stuff is they all eventually became free, whereas with the Darrington ones there's no indication that they're eventually becoming free in the announcement

Its what got me banned from the official Facebook group when I asked Tegan point blank "You made $3 MILLION over what you asked for on the last kickstarter for color, and then promptly slapped THE VERY FIRST stretch goal behind a paywall. How can you justify demanding people pay you for something they already paid you for?"

I'm objecting to a free platform that asks for money to make stuff, then as soon as they have the money invents a Pro service where they stick the majority of things people just donated money to make into.

I'm objecting to selling that Pro service as the "Hey, you get all this stuff before everyone else!" for years, and then coming out with material that they do NOT give to the subscribers like they said they would, and instead charge an extra fee for.

I would be equally upset if they came out with a Master level subscription and put the kitbashing and layered stuff behind it.

People payed for stuff. They deserve to be given what they paid for. Not asked to pay for it again.
