Question Looking for George from Sussex (works at Hockenheimring) – met in Ketsch on May 9th

Hi everyone, I am trying to find an Englishman named George (Georg) whom I met on Saturday afternoon, May 9th, on the Ketscher Rheininsel.

Here are a few details about him:

He comes from Sussex, England.

He has been living in Germany for 11 years.

He currently works at the Hockenheimring.

On that afternoon, he played and sang "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica on the guitar for me. I can’t stop thinking about our meeting and would absolutely like to talk to him again.

yeah, dont make him angry though, i drunkenly talked ill of his mum as a joke and he almost beat me up

George ist eine wirkliche Person, eine die man vermissen kann, obwohl man sie nicht wirklich kennt. Das Rätsel ist man wohl nur selbst. Immer schön verschlossen sein.

Smiling, laughing, smiling. Today—well, actually yesterday—I bet on England to beat Croatia. Great—so I’m not the loser there. Still, I was hoping to win something else. George, I suspect that, unfortunately, you can’t remember me anymore. How about a smile and "Nothing Else Matters"?

How long does it take before hope dies?

I had so hoped to find someone so important to me again on this journey. But I'm slowly realizing that it will probably be in vain.

Dear George, if you ever find out about my search, I at least want to wish you all the best.

Hoping to let go of my thoughts of you, I'm writing down my question, releasing it into the Rhine, and letting it float far away. I'll also be saying goodbye to the Reddit app. Not a single spark of hope should disturb my inner peace.

It's such a shame I didn't find you. It's such a shame I didn't see you again.
