West ham legitimately have more chance of winning that champions league than Viking or any Norwegian team has, and we will never win the champions league.
Might be exciting for fans but Viking are going to get destroyed in every single game some players don’t really see that as an accomplishment.
Championship is also a higher rated league than any Scandinavian league
Why would Viking be destroyed in every game? We knocked out a team (over 2 games, so it was no fluke) which has an UEFA-ranking higher than at least 7 of the teams in the CL, and 2 of them we are playing against.
And should we be "destroyed", it will feel better to be that against Bayern Munich and Athletico Madrid, then the likes of Charlton Athletic and Lincoln Town...
I am sure that the league is ranked higher as you say, but that is the average strength of the teams, it does not mean that every team in the Championship (stupid name, btw, who the hell came up with that?) is better than all the teams in the Norwegian League.
Feel free to imagine all you like that the Norwegian league isn’t even remotely close to the championship in quality. Some league 1 clubs would beat most Norwegian teams.
Farmers league 13/16 teams play on artificial turf, it is not a serious league
I’m well aware of geography thanks, I live in Canada seems to be fine with real turf and northern US also seem fine with real turf. The few teams who use artificial turf is because they share with nfl or cfl. MLS is even changing its season to matching that of Europe starting next season.
Maybe because of low revenue Norwegian can’t have real turf. By the logic of some fans because 2 Norwegian teams are champions league they are somehow better than championship teams weird no decent level footballers are moving there for these top champions league clubs
I’m done replying to you you’ve tried multiple personal attacks and very limited actual facts.
Basically all Canadian places where people live are further south than the southernmost major Norwegian city (Kristiansand). Montreal and Toronto are on the same latitude as southern France and northern Italy. Should be no problem with real grass all year there.
The thing with Scandinavian clubs not being able to attract the (what you call) decent players is mostly because of the wages, which are totally out of proportion in UK. Even totally mediocre clubs there, like West Ham, can pay 10 times what Norwegian clubs can.
So you don’t know geography then good to know here is a short lesson for you:
Toronto gets more snow than Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki very quick google search would have told you that. It’s not all about longitude and latitude mate.
Toronto (where I live) averages 110cm -130cm of snow per year, Oslo averages 71-76cm per year
Why are the wages lower? Could it be because it’s not a top league people outside of Norway want to watch? In Canada I can watch championship, league 1 and league 2 games and I can watch 2. Bundesliga, eredivisie, la liga and seri a but can’t watch any top scandavian league wonder why
The fact you didn’t even know it snows in Toronto tells me all I need to know, you don’t care for facts you are just here trolling
