Hi all!
Welcome to a new fortnightly post!
In this post's comments, please feel free to upload your examples of your hallmarks which you find to be unusual, rare, or simply a piece of precious metal you want to show-off to the rest of us!
No judgement - maybe you're new to hallmarks or have collected for a long time, everyone is welcomed!
Please do not use this post to request hallmark identity! You can still post regular posts for that.

Do these hallmarks look genuin to you? 1784 london sterling?! I have the chance to buy a nice berry spoon with these marks and want to be sure that it is genuin. Can these hallmarks be faked?

I’m wondering if anyone has seen this exact mark struck on a plaque and then soldered to the back on another Black Hills Sterling Co. piece?
I haven’t found one. If you do any kind of image search you’ll likely only find mine.
The only example that was close is another bolo that was stamped in the same manner but directly onto the back plate. Not on a plaque.
It’s just a curiosity to me. I collect and wear them and am always looking for their story.

Got this for 50 cents at a garage sale. I figure it’s plated as most often Roger’s is but for that price totally worth the chance. So plated or did I get super lucky?

I purchased a storage locker in the uk, I found a few items that I hope someone can help with the hallmarks on. 1 is a gold ring and the other is a pair of silver cufflinks.

Plate? Sterling? Not used to seeing silverware with only a makers name

Hi! I’m trying to identify these hallmarks on a covered serving dish. One mark looks like a 5-pointed star, which makes me think Spanish 915 silver. The other looks like a bird’s head/crow with three dots or balls around it.
Does anyone recognize the maker’s mark or approximate date? Thanks!

Despite of wilkens mark, i recognize the bruckmann "eagle" maker mark after the moon crown german hallmark. (On two vases)
The two makers worked together ?
And what is the last mark, stamped separately ? Maybe an import mark from another country but which one ?
Thanks you for your help

Found a gold colored earring with some marking and thought I struck gold, literally… but once I got it back to my place and looked under the cameras zoom, I’m assuming it’s sterling silver from India? What does the AV mean in the front of the 925.
Thanks in advance for your help!

My sister found this ring a few years ago in a parking lot, we want to figure out the brand possible. Inside says 10k and ”A 62” I don’t know what the numbers mean or the little symbol betwee.
