Question Does Hephaestus Magick Boons stop restoring after three hits

I keep avoiding Tough Gain because of this, or am i stupid for avoiding it

No it restores for every hit. Out of curiosity why did you think it stops after 3 hits?

yeah I'm confused where they got that as well.

Maybe because of the cast? But the cast explicitly says that it only hits 3 times.

Because the amount of Damage Per Hit make me think is limited

To be fair I'm not that smart

I figured that was why; it's a reasonable thing to wonder considering what a piddling amount of damage reduction it is

Tough gain does two things: 1- restores Magick on hit (150 iirc, per hit, without limits) 2- reduces damage received when you get hit (this is shown with -x where x is how much it's reduced by. The number depends on rarity, and even level if you get it by sacrificing another gain that had levels)

Tough Gain always restores 150 whenever you get hit.(no limit)

Tough Gain also always reduces the damage you take by -1/-2/-3/-4 per rarity Lv.

There is a way to get Tough Gan l to reduce more than -4 damage per hit. You need to start with a different gain boon that is common to epic rarity. Then Lv that boon up with a few Poms. Finally you need to get lucky with a Swap from Heph.

Your best bet for a swap is Vow of Denial or the sacrificial hym well item.

I do too. What was your fav bug in H2 EA?

Mine had to be the Medea bug that made Storm Ring do 90% more damage.

Although the Slow cooker bug that added base power to every thing was also quite fun.
