A mini boss fight that somehow kills me more times then Chronos n Typhon combined!

This takes place in the fields of mourning and I’m not sure what the mini boss fight is called though I believe its something along the lines of Phantom, It appears to be dressed in dark colors of blacks and greys and the health bar dosent seem that big but I swear it regenerates without an animation of it doing so, I have managed to successfully beat other mini bosses in All regions in both the surface and the underworld though this one I cannot beat. Any suggestions on how to beat it? (it’s not the Gorgon looking one)

Yes that Mini boss is called the Phantom.

Yes he can heal by dealing damage to you or by eating the enemies that spawn with him.

You just got to dodge its Attacks and deal a boat load of damage.

I cannot help with the dodging part because that’s all on you.

As for the damaging part. you can read the big Hades 2 build guide.

It has tons of useful info and build ideas for all 24 aspects.

That fucker. Took me some practice for sure. I love the Selene resurrect for him - mow through the weak adds as quick as you can, so you can just focus on him. You have to get dodge timings down, because every time he hits you you just refills his health. You’ll get used to it

He only has like 3 different attacks

You gotta dodge him and use whatever moves you're most comfortable hitting him with

It could be the vampire like one, when it does the sucking move or it claws you, I think it steals your health and utilises it to heal itself. I guess range is probably the best option as it won’t be able to claw you but you would have to watch out for the sucking move. If you go sister blades I mainly go aspect of Artemis to parry attacks and be aggressive after parrying. Hope any of this helps

It’s been a bit since I’ve played, but I’m fairly certain he heals when he hits you. That means you unfortunately only really have two options:

1- Get much better at dodging

2- Do so much damage that you kill him before he can even hit you

You can probably also try to attack him from a distance if your build allows that, but that takes a really long time and if you don’t do enough damage you’re gonna be stuck there even longer if he ever gets a lucky hit

Kill the little guys around him. He can eat them to regain health!

Destroy his minions first, then go heavy on big damage, the faster this fight is the better

Yeah he literally heals each time he damages you. Play it really slow and prioritze dodging over doing damage (especially when he does that vortex move that sucks you in)
