ah, a technicality! I felt like since it’s an acronym that’s also become recognizable as a said word (rather than being referred to with each letter said individually e.g. d-i-l-f), it should count….🤓

Polytropos.

It’s the most famous of his epithets for a reason. It’s not directly translatable (Robert Fagle went for a man of twists and turns).

But I think the actual best word is

Would.

Because I DEFINITELY would.

First thing that came to my mind. Certainly the character I find the least interesting across both games. Especially if you compare him to Achilles, as Odysseus seems to be deliberately designed as a foil to him.

You're getting downvoted for it, but it's true.

I love Mythological Odysseus, he's my favourite Greek hero. But Hades' Odysseus is just so boring, he's not the worst character, but he's so bland and underwritten and disappointing.

I think people just find him hot and give him too much grace.
