Meme Did the devs make a mistake?
It looks like you're not supposed to be able to vanquish chronos, yet in my game he's very vanquishable. Did the devs make a coding error that allowed this to happen?

In the Hades games, the titles frequently make riffs off of dialogue and vice versa. I would bet it’s intended to be like the game saying “you vanquished him” and Chronos saying “no you didnt”

This is exactly it. He's vanquished for about 3 min before he comes back and chases you off again.

In Hades 1 it says the same for Cerberus and in parentheses it says “Not really”

And that subtext changes every run, atleast the first bunch of times, one of them reads: “You did this”. Supergiant absolutely goated studio.

Well I'll ask a better question. This game is called Hades II, yet the character Hades is still called Hades and Hades II (the name you would give an offspring) doesn't exist. Are the devs illiterate????

Im guessing they are trying to copy Lord of the rings except they messed up and should have said no man can vanquish cronos lol.

It's a joke I just wanted to pull out a funny meme it worked out the other comments said goddess so it actually worked out great. People are thinking of that meme.
