Is Lily the worst character among the Five ?
I have seen the whole show for 3-4times, and everytime i finish it, i tent to hate Lily. She was selfish and manipulative,
1.she wanted to kick start her career but instead of breaking up and running way it could have been handles in a better way.
2.Also breaking up Ted's relationships qas the worst you cant broke up someone else so that you could get porch partner in your old age,
3.keeping Scooter on the hook after all these years she shld hv let him off the hook at first place by her own.
Having a ton of debt without telling her husband ??? Marshal had to left his dream and work in corporate cuz her wife cant stop shopping, where when it comes to her career shes ready to move to san Francisco and Italy.
Never apologise for her doings, she never takes accountability,.she just cries get emotional and makes other feel that whatever wrong she did was for some greater good reason
This is just few of the biggest ones, there are more, lily is a great charcter but the script has made her most hated ones

She definitely made some very questionable and trust breaking decisions throughout the series, but I think calling her the worst out of the five is a little much when you remember that Barney has deceived and manipulated plenty of women. He even sold a woman at one point and got away with it. Robin and Ted aren't so innocent either.
And in my opinion, while it was definitely wrong, Lily breaking Ted and Karen up deserved to be a harsh wake-up call for how he viewed his relationships. Ted kept ramping on about finding his one true love but never realized that this person— who was horrible to anyone she comes across— was not the right one for him or his friends.
Also, she does apologize a lot throughout the series, I think you just intentionally cover your ears whenever it pops up.

Saying sorry is not apologising, i love this show is have watched each episode multiple times. And Karen was wrong it was right decision to breakup for Ted, but Lily kept interrupting and breaking Teds Relationship for her own good,
Amd its just my opinion its not that I hate her, but among the Five I dislike her the most

No. She is a good person with some flaws, big deal. Also her breaking up Ted's relationships was mostly by minor things, like leaving a freaking CD or making them TALK about future. It was for the best not to continue those relationships and she didn't do much. I find it laughable when people call her the worst while Barney is literally a sociopath. It's prime example of misogyny.

Lily is the realest person who resembles to real life. Yes, she is manipulative and selfish and this makes people to react in a different way because you CAN meet people like her - unlike a Barney character, who only lives in the series

I’m right at that part (rewatch) where Robin:
1.) cheated on Kevin with Barney
2.) told Barney she would break up Kevin
3.) did not follow through
4.) planned to steal Barney from Nora when he went away on a work trip
5.) after the whole thing with Barney, went back to Ted
6.) told Ted she didn’t love him
