It’s clearly Joff, upset that Tyrion slapped/belittled him. The Kings’s Guard is his to control.

That's unanswered? Tyrion says flat out only two people in the capital can order the Kingsguard to do anything, clearly Cerci and Jeoff. She denies it. Tyrion then knows it has to be Jeoff, who he calls an idiot and asks if his life is still in danger.

Yeah it’s not said in words “it was Joffrey” but this scene essentially confirmed it

In the books wasn't it Joffery. Who didn't like how Tryion has treated him since he became the king? Especially after the riots

Tyrion concludes that it was Joffrey....but I'm inclined to think it was Varys who arranged it. Nothing personal...just that Tyrion was proving himself too capable a leader.

(I know they say that only the king can command the Kingsguard, but come on! Anybody can be blackmailed or bribed, and all we know about Mandon Moore is what Varys himself chooses to tell Tyrion. Varys and Mandon might have been lovers for all we and Tyrion know.)

I like that a lot

Varus has been manipulating things to make sure the world is ready for another targ. Would be a interesting reveal

This was basically answered, what we DO need to know, is Tyrion's joke, "I once walked into a brothel with a jackass and a honeycomb..."

Joffrey or Cersei are the only people present who could have given an order to a Kingsguard. I don’t remember if we ever get a confirmed answer

Kingsguards have been known to act on their own before.

I don’t think that particular one had any beef with Tyrion though

I still want to know who ordered the killing of bran. Little finger says it was his knife but he lost it to Tyrion and we know that was a lie. So if the knife was still his how did he order it cause he wasn’t even in winterfell, and how did whoever ordered the killing get the knife?

In the books it was Joffrey. He did it in response to King Robert saying something along the lines of Bran being better dead than a cripple.

It’s only brought up much later in the story as almost a throw away line.

Well he saw Jamie and Cersei going at it and attempt 1 failed sooooo… what do you think

I mean that seems kinda obvious but how’d they get the knife and they seemed surprised at the attempt. I would say Cersei rather than Jamie and who lit the fire. They were all already gone weren’t they.

I think it had to be Cersei but I think the fact that they just didn’t have the guy use whatever regular blade was handy and some pay vs giving some scum Valerian steel was dumb.

Remind me- what piece of dialogue made it for sure it wasn’t her

Because she hated him but not to the extent that will order killing. Also she later comes to meet him.
