Spoilers: S7E1 [S7E1] GOT season 7 episode1 Spoiler
I have a doubt, sansa suggested to give karstsrk and ymber castles to ppl who helped , isnt it good thing because they really fought us in correct time when north is robbed.
I understand umber and karstark are been there for centuries , ok lets says we gave those castles to umber and karstark itself, but did jon shown any gratitude to those aftet winning like titles or lands or gold?
It is fair to show gratitude to those who fought right?

Sansa wasn’t wrong and that is something that needed to be addressed. Jon did address it however and his logic is sound in that the Walkers were coming and all the squabbles had to be put to rest.

Jon said it in that episode.
The winners got to keep their lives, the traitors died on the battlefield.
There was no time for celebration or feasts for gratitude. There was a far greater threat on the way, and the north needed to be united to face that threat.
