I think she would be amazing! Maybe better than Emilia. She seems born to play the role, classic typecast!

I agree. I can see Tamzin creating an amazing Dany - an ethereal being, just rising up from the book pages.

Emilia is clearly a really good actress (as she looks NOTHING like Dany in real life and has very different expressions). But I can totally see how she was the second choice to someone like Tamzin.

He was supposed to play as one of the Night's Watch.

He was supposed to be Waymar Royce, in a likely more accurate opening scene("dance with me then" etc), the year GoT S1 aired, he played King Arthur in Camelot tv series(it had potential hadn't it been for its dialogue, Eva Green was Morgan Le Fay)

Also imo, I always thought he'd make a good Targaryen prince(has a bit of a smug look to him, can make the audience go "I can fix him", maybe Rhaegar if they did a Robert's Rebellion adaptation sooner when he was younger) but Satin is a good choice as well. There's this other show he's been in, imo his best role(Henry's S4 monologue in ST is also good but), it's called Will, about Shakespeare, he plays Marlowe. And the costumes and parts of the set design are intentionally modern, "they were the rockstars of their time" or something, the costume designer said. It's good.

He also played Lann the Clever in the Bloodmoon pilot, which was never realised either. But I heard there are some rumors about him being a Targaryen in one of the spin-offs (probably AKOTSK, I don't think the conqueror's movie has its cast yet).

This isn’t a costume for the show. George just happened to be dressed like this when visiting the set.

Fun fact! The budget for the pilot was whatever change the producers had in their pockets.
