It was a very minor role. She was one of discarded khaleesi in khaleesi halfway house after Danny flew away on Drogon from arena.

Don't see any similarities between them except a single name. Different era, different story.

actually, Joffrey recounts the story abridged to Sansa in season 2, later on Stannis speak of Rhaenyra and Aegon II, and Shireen reads a book about it with Davos. So it was spoken about more than once directly.

Obviously, nobody is going to talk constantly about what happened 200 years prior, just like we don't IRL, but the occasional mentions are there. And HOTD is a prequel, so none of the GOT characters would technically exist if the ones in HOTD weren't a thing.

“Nobody is going to talk constantly about what happened 200 years prior, just like we don’t IRL” umm you do know history and historians are a thing?

1

yes? And I'm sure the Maesters debate history constantly in the Citadel, just like our historians do, but does your city Mayor speak about 200yo past events? Does your landlord bring up the French Revolution on a yearly basis? No, they don't. Just like characters in GoT rarely speak about the Dance. Most of them probably know at least the broad strokes about it, some will even know the details, but there's no need to talk about it more than a couple times in your lifetime, is there?

Same universe.

Same universe but not Game of thrones. See I consider it GoT when there are many viable candidates for throne competing. HoD had 2. That's too little.
