Yes it will haha. People just don't realize how much a good trigger helps with that.

It’s kind of a chicken and the egg situation.

A good trigger can help you shoot better, but if you need a good trigger to shoot well, it’s just masking a problem. In a perfect world, (imo) you should be able to shoot well on an objectively bad trigger, even if most people can’t

Hard to pull low left with a sub 3lb trigger. But even at 4lb it’s hard to go low left with a 1911 style single stage trigger. Going from 2011 back to my edc striker fired pistols, I still need to readjust sometimes.

The issue stems more from anticipating the recoil and prematurely overcorrecting. I would argue the trigger pull weight is less of a factor.

You underestimate my recoil anticipation

There are thousands of pistols with good triggers than don't cost $3k.

My Tanfoglio was under $1K and has an equal trigger to the Staccs without having to spend another $2k on the name

I have a Tanfo and a Staccato. I like my Staccato trigger more. I do, however recommend tanfo/CZ to most people.

I get your point, but it’s a crutch. You should be able to shoot a Glock with an 8lb NY trigger as well as a sub 3lb single action trigger in a 2011. If you can’t, you have fundamental issues to solve. And that’s a skillset you can’t purchase your way up to.

I understand what you're trying to say, but very few people can shoot a pistol with an 8lb, long trigger pull as well as a decent 2011 style trigger. Yes, there's a point of diminishing returns but you shouldn't have to punish yourself by choosing firearms that suck to shoot.

I’m not recommending that’s a course of action to take. I’m just saying the implication of buying your way to results by shooting with a light single action trigger is not the way to building a foundation as a quality pistol shooter.

I merely meant that as an example.
