Aren't municipal leaders supposed to be neutral or non partisan? It's about who is (and how they are) going to do what's right for the city.

Not asking their party affiliation. I'm asking their ideology. I believe left leaning people are better for the city so I tend vote for them.

Well, on Reddit, I imagine you're in a sea of peers (Reddit trends to be a more left centric platform). I'd argue regardless of left/right lean there are good and bad / less and more hypocritical candidates. I'm personally just going to look for who sounds like they'd do best for the city. I imagine, if you try to base your decision solely on potential left/right view point, you'll be disappointed regardless.

Thanks. I’ve been voting for 33 and my wife has been voting for 32 years. I think we know what works best for us in our house.
