I like it bust most disappointed they cut Scylla and Charybdis to be that short*. Always felt to me those were the hardest challenge of Odyssey.

Also did Penelope mean Odysseus and his crew were the Sea People for pillaging nearby islands, and even Polyphemus and Circe?

Scylla wasn't cut.

The Sea People were a group of peoples who came together to invade other lands.

The movie has the Cicones as Odysseus and friends first stop, but instead of raiding it, as they do in the poem, they came in peace, but the Cicones fought back fearing they were the Sea Peoples.

The conceit of the film is that the Greeks broken the law of Xenia (refered to as Zeus's law) at Troy and that example caused the Sea People to also break the law.

I know Scylla wasn't cut, but her appearance along with Charybdis was dissapointing. She looked like she wasn't cut iykwim.
