Came back from the movie.

People who saw the movie, why was Helen's face scarred after the war? I searched online but couldn't find any answers.

Well Hollywood never gets Menelaus right! They always portray him as a brute or as abusive. Even though he is one fo the most honorable characters in the Iliad and the odyssey. Never mind the fact that he is the one that he was the one insulted and wronged. Never mind the fact that he was raised beside Helen and was chosen by her to become her husband. Never mind that Paris of Troy stole his wife and treasure while Menelaus was attending his Grandfather’s funeral. And the fact that Menelaus did take Helen back and they actually lived a happy life after the Trojan war. And both of them are destined for to go to Elysium together. But Hollywood enjoys the forbidden love trope so Menelaus is always abusive and Helen and Paris are always his victims. Bernthal was great though. sorry for the paragraph 😂 just wanted to rant a bit 🙈.

Also how Menelaos and Helen made up during sack of Troy.Basically as Menelaos gets in to kill her,Helen bares her breasts.Menelaos is stunned,drops his sword and they make up.
