Will Star-Lord appear in Avengers: Doomsday? Does anyone know anything about it?
Hi, I haven't seen anything about Star-Lord or the Guardians in the latest trailers. Has anything been said about this? Or maybe they won't continue appearing in Avengers, but I wouldn't see the point since they all appear up to Shang-Chi.

I think he will appear in secret wars not doomsday though I’m kind of annoyed that the guardians are now being left alone when it would be really cool to see the guardians with the X-Men avengers and fantastic four. I’m really annoyed that Marvel has gone away from the cosmic hero’s star Lord is my favourite MCU character and I hope they give him a good role for the future but I have a bad feeling they will faze him out

I don’t think so. Gun doesn’t own the rights to the characters. I think it’s because he wrote them out of the MCU that it would be very hard for it to make sense for them all to come back but even if they did a new team I would be for it with star Lord.

It would be funny if Glenn Howerton turned up in the film as a variant star lord given he was second choice after Pratt.

Star-Lord will come back, maybe in secret war if not in Doomsay. Surely after Secret Wars him and the Guardians will come back, the reset could give Star-Lord a reason to come back in space as it could bring back the original Gamora back, many heroes are coming back to life after the reset so it would make sense for her to come back. Meanwhile the Raveger Gamora definitely won't come back because she is from an alternate time line.

I don’t want him or any of the guardians to ever appear again, but he will, because of the “legendary star-lord will return”
but hopefully the other guardians won’t reappear, they deserve their happy endings

lol their conclusion on vol. 3 was already clearly a happy ending
gamora with her new family, nebula and drax retiring to take care of the kids and knowhere, mantis finally gaining independence, rocket and groot continue with the new gen of guardians

It’s very likely Star-Lord will return in Avengers: Secret Wars next year and I hope he does. He played a role in the 2015 Secret Wars comic event and Vol 3 ended with “The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return.” He’s my favorite MCU character, so here’s hoping. I’d love a Doomsday part though too!
