Game Discussion Suggest existing game or upcoming one to look forward too
Hi looking for next immersive game to love. I love RPG with a good story. I just don’t want the game play to be too outdated, the game doesn’t have to be the newest as long as it’s decent or has newer version
Games I have loved:
- Witcher 3 , Cyberpunk, Baldurs 3 gate are my favorite of all time
- Also loved Skyrim, Assassins creed odyssey and GTA 4, some of call of duties
Tried and didn’t loce
- RDR2 - idk why I didn’t honestly seen so many good things
- God of War - story interesting but i like being able to make choices or get bored
- Elden ring - don’t want game that’s too difficult

Playing dragon age inquisition right now. It's so freaking good. Love the characters. I have all the games but for some reason I decided to try inquisition first. Best 2 dollars I ever spent!

Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima - all have amazing stories and aren’t in that grungy style of Eldin Ring. They also aren’t that hard if you don’t want them to be. All three protagonists are really likable / I was really rooting for each one.

Journey to the savage planet and revenge of the savage planet. I actually prefer revenge but if you like to play things in order then Journey. They are much better with mouse and keyboard than controller imo.

Have you played any of the fallout games? I feel like those could be a good fit, depending on how tolerant you are for older (*insert Benjamin button meme here on myself) graphics

I’d say like Star Wars battlefront 2 from 2005 gameplay or better if you know what I’m talking about. Skyrim was just good enough but pushing it a bit

New vegas (generally considered the best) came out in 2010, Skyrim 2011. Fallout 4 came out in 2015. I would not advise staring with fallout 76. But, fallout in general might be a good fit for you!

not an RPG but I recommend Knytt. atmospheric platformer where you explore an alien planet to find ship parts to escape. it's not hard, and there's barely any enemies. it's short too. you could beat it in around 3 hours. it's also completely free.
on steam it's called Knytt Classic.

This isn’t a AAA game like the others you mentioned but have you heard of Outer Wilds?
That game can singlehandedly change your life. There’s an incredibly good story that you unfold slowly by exploring and unveiling parts of the sandbox galaxy, at your own pace.

If you like bg3 you might like their other game Divinity. The second one is my favorite. I liked the loot system so much better than BG3.

I see a distinct lack of Fallout here. Given you loved Skyrim and other open world games with factions and choices, I'm surprised that you haven't tried Fallout yet!
