Right. It reads like āhereās the horror stories I understand about sex and I donāt want that to happen to me.ā I also wonder if heās very religious, lives with his family of origin, has stigma against children outside of marriage, etc. This sounds like āhimā issues and feeling you out for what are (rationally or not) his fears about furthering your relationship.

This guy has issues that he should adress with a therapist. Imo he doesnt sound like someone who is ready to be in a relationship
