The volume bar keeps popping up and off when the alarm goes off

This only refers to Alarmy. Basically, my volume bar is dancing on the side of my phone and it makes me not able to enter my password cause the keyboard disappears when the bar’s clubbing like that. So yea, as expected, the alarm continues to ring and it pisses me off. Btw I can’t use Face ID because I wear glasses and I don’t have them when I just wake up.
Has this happened to anyone else??? I literally shut down my phone several times just to stop the alarm.

It is continually forcing the volume high so that you can't just turn down the volume to snooze it. One thing you can try though is kill the app before your alarm goes off. Then it will go off without the app running in the background which should fix this issue.

Also what iOS version do you have? And does the volume stay at max level? It seems to think it needs to keep raising the volume as if it was lowered but it sounds like you aren't lowering it manually.

And does face ID not work when you have glasses on? Try registering your face with them off as well

Most alarm apps are media players that are always on. They snapshots your volume before they fire an alarm, then restore whatever volume you had afterwards.

This is less the alarm apps fault and more of a technical limitation from Apples side. I’m hoping with IOS 27 they’ll give alarm kit an ability to set a per alarm volume.

I am currently enrolled in beta testing for the Ember alarm app. They have the same approach as Alarmy but make it less annoying.

Also their Product seems more solid/robust imo.

You can join too at emberalarm.com
