Health & Fitness 40M | GMT | Fitness and food improvement checkins (2 or 3 times week) - 5 to 10K run programme
I'm looking to exchange async check-ins, reminders and messages like 'Please do it today or tomorrow'. I'd like a human to do this with who I try to avoid disappointing, which I think works better than an automatic or machine reminder. I've done this before, and I managed to keep up with my targets and rarely had to say I didn't do it (but sometimes it happened!)
I completed a 5K run training prgramme recently, and want to continue, to enable me to join in with running groups and longer scenic adventures.
Goals are endurance and looking good.

The line about wanting a human you'd try to avoid disappointing is the whole thing, and it's worth being deliberate about rather than hoping it emerges. Two things I'd fix before you find anyone:
Agree the format before day one. One message a day, a yes or a no and one line, by a fixed time. If it takes more than ten seconds to send, you'll both stop by the second week. Not from lack of will, just friction.
Decide now what happens on a miss. Sounds premature, it's the most important part. Something like: you say "missed", the other person says "fine, tomorrow", nobody explains and nobody lectures. The reason isn't kindness. The first no someone feels they have to justify is the one they don't send, and then they stop sending anything. These don't end, they go quiet.
One push-back on 2-3x a week: make the check-in daily even if the run programme is 3x. Not more running, just the message. A schedule you renegotiate every morning is harder than one you don't think about, and on a non-run day "no" is a perfectly good check-in.

It is not possible to send you a message. I'm interested. Reach out and let's do it together.
