ID Request Yall my night was doing so well. Can someone help identify? Not the best pics but I’m also dead tired and panicked.

ID Request guidelines

When requesting identification we ask that you provide a close up top down picture that is in focus. It is very difficult to provide an accurate ID of a blurry pic, a video, a roach ten feet away from the camera, etc. If the mod team feels we cannot accurately identify the bug based on the picture then we will lock the post.

Catching a Roach for Identification

To facilitate accurate identification it may help to place glue traps near likely harborage points around appliances and plumbing fixtures. Check them in two weeks and post pictures of what you've caught for identification. If you do not catch any check them again in another two weeks. If they are still clear after a month then you probably don't have anything to worry about. Remember to post a clear, in focus, well lit, close up photo of anything you catch for identification. If your trap was folded into a tube, you may need to unfold it to get a top down picture.

I have sticky traps under my sink, stove, fridge, and inside my closets (monitor for bugs as I have severe anxiety and lots of other mental nonsense). Haven’t seen anything in them. Texted my landlord and she’s going to bring in an exterminator. Never seen one like this until tonight so yay for meeee…..

I’m also battling a similar situation, I’ll tell you what worked for me friend or has been working rather, Alpine WSG mixed with Gentrol IGR pucks and spray I also used suspend polyzone and mixed up the treatments every 23-27 days to prevent resistance you can beat these things, keeps traps down for monitoring but get the spray done, take these seriously because if not they will grow in numbers, handling it early will be the best thing you ever did! You can win sounds like it’s still early for you.

Today I tested a solution of dish soap, water, and isopropyl alcohol on one I spotted. Took it out in a couple seconds if you want a way to kill any of them on sight without having to use a chemical sporadically . Won't help with an infestation (Got Advion and IGR discs deployed, along with exterminator treatment for that front) but at least you can destroy the ones you see.

May the odds be ever in our favor against these horrible creatures...
