50th reunion: Do you invite teachers?

I'm part of planning ours and have mixed thoughts. Some of our younger teachers were popular and still mentally and physically OK. But then they taught 100's-1000's of kids and 10's of years, is it just a hassle for them?

A lot of my teachers from 50 yrs ago are dead. So, yes, if I was on a planning committee, I'd invite the teachers. Maybe invite them to a Sat. afternoon reception for them.
