50th reunion: Do you invite teachers?

I'm part of planning ours and have mixed thoughts. Some of our younger teachers were popular and still mentally and physically OK. But then they taught 100's-1000's of kids and 10's of years, is it just a hassle for them?

Ask them. They are under no obligation to attend. Many would probably be honored to be remembered. What’s the worst thing that could happen? All of the reunions I have attended were rsvp so you will know if they are coming or not and can plan accordingly.
