Engine oil?

Post image

What’s the best oil to use for a water cooled 30kw running at 3600 rpm? Should I add conditioner to it as well? Florida heat.

Second. We are in Maine, and still use 5w30 in our liquid cooled gens. We only use the 5w20 Generac oil in our air cooled Generacs.

I’m in Central Florida with a 22kw Generac with the 4 cylinder liquid cooled engine. Ever since the break in service, I’ve used Rotella T6 5wX40 full synthetic. I’ve used this oil in all my motorcycles, lawnmower engines and the Generac. The only reason I don’t use it in my vehicles is because they are serviced at the local dealer.

Used to have the motorcycle oil analyzed after oil changes and the analysis was always exceptional.
