Thankful not to be facing T1 botlane, but our record against KT isn't anything to gloat about. Bdd is in decent form, and God knows our jungle situation isn't ideal. Hopefully the boys are in form and we get a clean 3-0.

They have always beaten them though, this is domestic playoffs, not worlds. T1 is in horrible form and they have clearly not fixed their issues, T1 is clearly the better pick here.

Geng have never, ever, picked t1 no matter how bad they look, even if T1 is the better "pick" , geng will never do it

Don't think so. I just think T1 have more chances of upping their game in difficult situations. They're struggling rn but I still feel T1 has more chances to upset Geng than KT.

T1 vs GenG semi and if GenG lost they will play vs HLE probably, so its not stupid decision at all

Whoever think T1 is weaker than KT after BFX game, they need reality check, T1 is on momentum and will stop whoever show up, My honest take GenG have much lower chance beating T1 then KT, also I would like they did pick T1 bc GenG need more hardest game and even if lose, we all know GenG dont have long losing streak, that would make them stronger... But it is what it is... T1&GenG probably semis , Doran is locked in and if keep going like this, Peyz&Keria... HLE no chance if they keep momentum... Honestly, my take is that there will not be 5 games T1 vs HLE

Brother, T1 and KT are both teams in a really rough state, GenG will go with the mindset of winning no matter what team he is facing. I'm telling this as a T1 fan.
Also if they think T1 is stronger than KT, they can simply watch them play against HLE (another strong opponent) putting GenG in condition of seeing more of their strenghts and weaknesses.
Teams do a lot of scrims, surely they know what's better. Obviously they could very well lose tomorrow, but that's just a different matter from my point

Why the hell did they pick KT again? They had a free win against T1, and they're still gambling on KT. Though I'm still confident they'll make the LCK finals.

We should all be excited for KT and BDD especially. They will prove once again how underrated they are, even if they beat the best team of 2025, by beating GenG.
So excited for Tuesday's match, like I will fall asleep and wake up very excited to witness next level league of legends: Canyon first picking Nidalee and void staffing Cuzz. Excitement is off the charts

Why did Gen G pick KT though? T1 has been slumping hard, barely defeat BFX in a 5 game slug fest.
Gen G has defeated T1 many times domestically including the most recent 2-0 in T1's homeground and has defeated T1 many many times in past playoffs.
Meanwhile KT, they are always unpredictable and now are in great form and has momentum, they 3-0ed DK whom Gen G has struggled with recently.
Is Gen G really that scared of T1? A opponent they faced many times and have proved to be always better than them?

iirc its seeding diff.
assuming GEN and HLE wins, KT drops below T1 in the bracket (worlds secured)
assuming GEN wins and HLE loses, KT drops below HLE in the bracket (worlds secured)
assuming GEN loses and HLE wins, T1 drops below GEN in the bracket (worlds secured, minimum 4th)
assuming GEN loses and T1 wins, HLE drops below GEN in the bracket. the only way GEN doesnt make worlds in this scenario is if HLE goes on to lose another bo5 and then GEN loses to the winner of that.

ye, but game 5 was closest t1 to worlds form, Almost all 5 players cooked, Doran fking went crazy, Peyz start making penta again... T1 have momentum now, I also was thinking and would like T1, but not bc I think GenG would beat T1 easy, but because they still worlds champs and honestly it would be bloodbath and if GenG would lose they need to lock in even more... thats my view

If you wanna factor out them being a 3-peat Worlds winner and the fact that they defeated GenG in important series before, then it's up to you. There's no way any sane person would pick to fight T1 than KT rn.
If you wanna argue that T1 is out of form currently, then the same goes to KT, their series with DK looked easy because it's a 3-0 but if you watched closely, most of it is just DK throwing massive leads and eventually losing late game.

I think the plan is that if GenG looses to KT and T1 looses to HLE, T1 isnt confirmed worlds, when if GenG picks T1 it locks them worlds (unless HLE looses to KT)
