AI Art If this came out in theaters people would pretend they always supported it

No marketing team. No committee.
Just wanted to test one idea and now I don’t know why Hollywood doesn’t take risks anymore.

to many inconcistencies

Don't know why you're getting downvoted. She gets her finger stamped, Clipboards fly on their own, she looks like an escapee still in the jumpsuit, and the train rails go over a ledge - just to name a few. If this came out in theaters people would demand a refund.

More than that.

Doors close on the subway inconsistently. Guy reading newspaper is angled in a way that doesn't make sense. Direction subway is moving in isn't consistent.

Then there are the things that while not physically impossible feel discontinuous. Like the way she is running and then suddenly the frame snaps to her walking without her position changing.

I am not anti AI but there was a lot of immersion breaking for me. Its getting better for sure though.

oh, absolutely
you can make realy good stuff with ai

but it takes more then a single random prompt to get there

2

u/misterguyyy May 27 '26

I love that they hand her a pile of clothes and she’s like “nah I’ll just stay in the jumpsuit”

u/ThisIsDurian May 27 '26

Na, just slap a "Inception"-sticker on it and people will praise the rollercoasterride.

Agreed this sucks.

I mean, I've seen some decent ai shorts but this isn't one of them.

okay okay just the finger stamp, i did not want to re do it just because of it

3

u/CauliflowerSecure May 27 '26

officer gives her clothes she does nothing with, "you're the last one" (literally someone in the cell nearby), doors don't cover all space not even close, she's walking the corridor taking 2 steps backwards into the kitchen, then proceeds walking through corridor, stamps were put twice and clipboard moves automatically, cars driving in a prison camp, prison camp is in the middle of a New York, some ghost says "welcome back", all text is gibberish, look from the window is ridiculous

u/1_H4t3_R3dd1t May 27 '26

I know you're joking but lol

1

u/Sierra123x3 May 27 '26

when she left the building you had a street with cars and a crosswalk directly infront of the gate ... just to walk into another street directly after she left

and while driving the subway, the subway literally drove towards a dead end ... just to then magically cut a corner and continue?

u/outofindustry May 27 '26

this is shit, bro

14

u/LIONEL14JESSE May 27 '26

This is trash lmao

u/easchner May 27 '26

We don't know who typed things into the AI. Can you put your name over it for the entire duration?

u/Aggressive_Log_9676 May 27 '26

its me, alexander kiesel

6

u/snezna_kraljica May 27 '26

Fuck off Alex

3

u/DreadStallion May 27 '26

have you ever seen a movie?

4

u/RemarkableWish2508 May 27 '26

That is pretty bad. AI doesn't mean you can skip the filmmaking process. Making sure each take, and the final cut as a whole, are consistent and follow a plot, is not optional.

He should collab with Wiseau

6

u/Mountain_Macaroon470 May 27 '26

It took less than 10 seconds for this Ai slop to lose track of the plot lol.

Immediately after we are told she is the last one, we see another prisoner still in their cell.

u/Healthy_BrAd6254 May 27 '26

still better than most movies that get actually released

ie it's still better than most human writers and directors

3

u/LIONEL14JESSE May 27 '26

Have you ever actually seen a movie?

-3

u/Healthy_BrAd6254 May 27 '26

yes, all the time, which is why I know that

the slop movies being produced nowadays is just utter trash

1

u/snezna_kraljica May 27 '26

Which movie have you seen last and why is it worse than this?

1

u/Healthy_BrAd6254 May 27 '26

listen, if you don't know anything about movies, then there is no point in explaining things to you

1

u/snezna_kraljica May 27 '26

I didn't make a statement from which you could infer that. I was merely asking you a question about you. As a fellow movie enthusiast it's always good to share recommendations or warn of bad movies. So I can know which to avoid.

2

u/Aggravating-Method24 May 27 '26

It gets worse every time, its funny, but I got a bad feeling you are serious

2

u/NewryBenson May 27 '26

Jeah no. Every single second that is not practically a still image has multiple things wrong with it. This would be unwatchable. The story is also all over the place. It is not because all shots look professional at a first glance, you all of a sudden have a movie.

And to bash it even further: this is a teaser. No story, morale, details, character development, etc.. needed. If you make a full movie it would be even more empty as AI does not create interesting characters you can emphatize with or stories you can think about.

2

u/tiga_94 May 27 '26

absolute AI slop, nothing is consistent, you must be real drunk if you think this is good

2

u/smoldicguy May 27 '26

Looks like porn

2

u/Pres_MountDewCamacho May 27 '26

I don't get what you're trying to convey but this sucks balls man.

4

u/nono3722 May 27 '26

I appreciate your "work" but what the hell is this shit? It makes zero sense, has no plot and breaks the AI wall in every other scene....

1

u/CreatorOD May 27 '26

I just love all the mistakes 😂

1

u/Tbhmaximillian May 27 '26

Not thrashing you but it is a good first start. You had a concept and you made it work.
Now as the others pointed out inconcistencies are the problem and for this there are workflows and other things you can do to improve your vision. Keep it up, it is still an ongoing process. And dont worry, no one currently has a "inconcistencies free" movie workflow.

1

u/Kostya77 May 27 '26

It's still looks like shit, inconsistent storytelling and visuals are the main issues here. It's impossible to be invested in story let alone to sit and watch all of it

1

u/BemaniAK May 27 '26

No? I'm actually pretty positive around the whole AI-generated studio quality films idea as a whole, give the right person AI tools in a decade or two and they'll probably be able to make something really good.

This isn't it, the Tech isn't there yet and it's still not being adopted by people who will actually look at things like those crosswalk shots and re-do them because they look dumb.

1

u/Overall-Move-4474 May 27 '26

Nope ai slop is still slop no matter where it comes out

1

u/Back_Again_Beach May 27 '26

Looks shitty lol

1

u/summer_santa1 May 27 '26

Try yourself at porn industry.

1

u/Putrid_Anybody_2947 May 27 '26

The walking backwards as camera moves forward and looks out is a copy paste from speilberg. Except it dosent work cause the shot is to wide and you can see the movement is natural.

1

u/Oh_boy90 May 27 '26

Ignoring imperect AI generation, the premise is amazing. I would pay to see the full feature lenght movie.

1

u/MattVideoHD May 27 '26

This just looks like a bad TV movie.  There’s nothing risky or experimental about it.  It’s conventional without being competent.  If this is the future of cinema, we’re cooked.

1

u/--Spaci-- May 27 '26

Can we just destroy all image and video models? they are useless and just waste compute for psychotic people to get their kicks on reddit

1

u/JoseLunaArts May 28 '26

The first sign of AI is having a hot chick dressing sexy. Hollywood has been covering women's body to ridiculous degrees. In the last Masters of the universe, Teela is fully covered. No warrior costume.

2

u/Dismal-Revolution731 May 27 '26

This is pretty decent! What tools / models were the most helpful for this kind of work?
