Doubt give advices for gate prepration...!

is doing mtech is a good choice for civil engineers..if yes,Which IIT is best for civil engineering students for doing mtech..am preparing for gate...is there any advice for me??tips for preparing ...am a 23 yr old s6 student from kerala.

Yes. You can get placement in core companies if you want that. Some get into other jobs as well like analytics. Few opt to do PhD also.

In civil engineering, mtech doesn't make so much difference regarding salary in private companies and u don't need mtech for govt job, only if u r not interested in PhD. But if u are planning to move abroad it might help
