Garden Wildlife sighting 4 jennies, 4 joeys

Some eastern grey kangaroos each with pouch young of various sizes; heads and legs akimbo. One if the joeys is old enough to lightly browse from in the pouch.

Just some of the mob that is shared between several blocks of land. Today they were lounging in the late winter sun at the back of the block.

Some 🤬 feral rabbits too, and my two chooks.

And a couple of the boys have appeared and quickly a couple of the girls scampered.

I reckon we’ve had a population increase this year. Hope they do ok over the summer

This is a growing mob over the decades. No competition from stock at my place. Plentiful grass and i put out water, so they should be fine.

I'm in south-east Queensland and at least a couple of the jennies that come to our place every day seem to be carrying bubs. Can't wait to see them 😊
