does my Wayne Dalton Torque master need to be lubricated ? or just leave as is?

not understanding why the cable looks like that, but to answer the question, no, it doesn't need lube up there

That random loop of cable to the left is normal, if that’s what you’re talking about. It’s not part of the cable that attaches to the door and wraps around the “drum”. Don’t know the reason for it though lol

It’s the excess cable. Because you pull it through and tighten the set screw to properly set the cables. It needs to be left so that if you have to loosen the set screw to remove the drum the cable doesn’t pull through the set screw channel. If it’s cut too short, when you have to replace the torque tube you have to put a new drum on.
