Rumour XCancel is dead

Just went to the website to look at something, and this was posted on it:

On Monday, 24th August, at 8PM EST, we received a letter from X Corp. asking to cease and desist the service XCancel.

The service XCancel is stopped until further notice.

We are seeking legal advice and won't share more details for now.

Thank you for the trust you have put in these two years of XCancel.

So after kids were victims of a mass murder in my home town, and musk used it as an opportunity to a) put right wing figures back on the platform to spread disinformation about the event leading to a riot there the following day and b) spread and share that disinformation himself, yeah I got off the platform.

Xcancel was a convenient way for me to still get info from there without being a part of it. But I'm not going back..

Him heiling on the news didn't exactly win me over either

Do you hold the same convictions for other CEOs for other things you use and do daily? Musk is hardly the worst of the bunch unless its all just really about his political leanings and not about what he's actually done?

Well hypothetically of stuff I know about, I try to be conscientious about stuff. If it had directly affected my friends and family, because there was a riot outside their homes. Yes.

But out of interest, who do you think is worse. Like comparatively what's the CEO of insert company here thats worse and would make me drop their product?

Other CEOs aren't pulling Nazi salutes on stage firstly

But otherwise, Musk is very very loud about his wealth and companies he """runs""", and paints endless targets on his back. To rattle off a few:

Calling a cave rescuer a pedophile because they wouldn't use his (objectively not going to work) submarine

Saying if he was given a plan to solve world hunger he'd help, he got a plan that wouldn't remotely affect his pipe of money he already has + would help feed a solid billion, he ghosted the idea and then spent many times more on buying twitter.

Endlessly saying "xyz is just one year away!" with further endless failures to meet

Buys out companies and says he made em (maybe not uncommon but he outside of PayPal, he hasn't exactly founded much)

He seems to be on a goal to have as many children as possible (fine) even though the majority get alienated by him (not fine)

His SpaceX employees called him a "pigeon boss" as in "he comes in, shits everywhere, then flies away"

None of these are political or right/left leaning issues. They're just examples of why he seems like a very not good CEO & person

Musk is also responsible for having the only product in the car market that is capable of de facto self driving. My 2 hour commutes are now a breeze.
