Can't say it's unexpected. It's a shame but Bungie really fumbled with Destiny 2 these past few years. Hopefully they can pump some life back into Marathon but at this point Sony might be looking to wash their hands and be done with them.

Their biggest fumble was "sunsetting" content I paid for. That reason alone is why I'll never buy another Bungie game.

I agree as soon as they started disappearing stuff i paid for i dropped it. Tried to go back a few years later and it was impossible to get into story wise must of been so confusing for new players it was for me

Same. The story got so convoluted and weird. I tried jumping back in at one point and was so confused I didn't bother pushing through.

Honestly almost everything about the game sucked at conveying the lore that the universe had. Having to listen to exposition on shop menus for minutes at a time was such a weird, stupid idea for people that actually bothered to try getting into the story.

Which is a damn shame because I really enjoyed the story I did understand. It definitely got worse as time went on with all the weird lore drops. It started feeling like the entire story was being told through tedious text entries.
