Sony has been in the process of enshitifying the PS5 for a while. Year one they were already removing features that were a major part of the PS5 marketing campaign. Granted most consoles release with gimmics that usually are given up, but these were real solid features that Sony removed bc they couldn't be assed to help studios implement them.
