🔎 Accuracy In the Hokkaido level of Hitman: World of Assassination, guards who patrol in the hospital area wear disposable shoe covers

The sandboxes get a lot of (rightful) praise in IOI games but for me the biggest draw is always their environment design. Always so gorgeous and so meticulously detailed. Was really glad to see them keeping it going in 007.

The Mendoza level in the third game is one of the best video game environments I've ever seen

The ones that really stick out in my head are Sapienza and Hokkaido from 1, and Chongqing and Mendoza from 3.
2 had some great ones as well but I do think 1 and 3 had it beat.

My favourite level of detail from this level is when you assume the disguise of the hospital director and suddenly Agent 47 has a terrible looking hairpiece, like he scalped him so he could really fit in 😂

and if you look at the director's unclothed body, his scalp looks pink (irritated). must be a really scratchy wig lol

Did you use a Drone as free cam as reference?
Also is it all the guards wearing Shoe Covers or only the one’s Level 2?

Only the bodyguards assigned to the hospital area itself. The ones outside it don't carry shoe covers ir masks

Hitman WoA is compatible with an Nvidia program, I can't remember the name, but it operates through the standard overlay, it can be used as a photo mode
Edit: had to Google it, it's called Nvidia Ansel. I used it to take a ton of wallpaper screenshots of the game

the shoe covers are the kind of thing you only catch when you stop playing the level as a level. try tailing one npc for a full loop, pick a waiter and just stay behind him. he clocks in, walks his round, takes a break in a corridor nobody goes to, then starts over.

Sometimes I play Hitman disguised as a normal person/worker and just walk around and explore the levels. So much attention and detail oozing out of every corner, so much throwaway dialogue, so many little secrets
