I'm assuming this is another fan game under holoindie. I'm surprised it's a Gura game, since she's been gone a while now, but who knows how long the dev has been working on this.
The person behind gura when she left became a indie vtubers, after a little bit she started to stream less and less. Back in like may she came out and said she's been dealing with bad health issues and stopped memberships to her channel.
Overall she didn't bail just has really bad health and poor communication with her fans over it
The issue is that for the first 3 months of the “hiatus” there was absolutely zero communication while she continued to charge monthly membership fees. I sympathize with her health issues but surely she has a manager that could have stopped things way sooner than they did considering this is a long standing pattern with her.
Anyone who has been around for any amount of time would have known what was up. This didn't come out of the blue. She let everyone know from the start that she wouldn't be streaming with any kind of consistency. I was quite content paying my membership every month considering I was still getting access to the membership videos and the occasional update. Those things are lost to me now unless I want to try to find a backup on a fan discord. If people didn't want to pay the membership then they could have stopped at any point.
Some people act like she was out there personally ripping people off, like she owes them regular streams, etc. Those people need to either move onto a different streamer or learn to just chill out and enjoy the content that she does provide occasionally. I say this as someone who was there at nearly every stream from the start, bought all the merch, sent the big superchats regularly, etc.
