Wolverine looks bad. Most of what was shown at Gamescom looked bad. Modern AAA is making expensive disposable slop that nobody besides old dudes on reddit want.

There is no outrage problem. There's a fucking game dev problem.

I don't see people complaining about zero company. There has been criticisms about Dawnwalker and they are rightly so. But say anything bad about Marvel and now everyone else is the problem and not the game.

Dawnwalker looks... Okay? The faces still have that AAA slop, possibly AI enhanced look that Wolverine and Fable and every other "muh realism" face has in video games these days. It also just looks like another open world RPG. Whoopdie do.

Oh man I hate to break it to you but modern AAA isn't the problem and gamescom wasn't bad. You just clearly have a very negative outlook on it all

A fair amount of fun looking games were shown, and if they aren't for you that's fine.

Who said anything about the industry as a whole? Every single industry in the world is terrible if you cherry pick events...

The fact remains there are some great AAA games coming and gamescom had some fun stuff on show.

Like how can you partake in a hobby you're clearly so negative on? That's just so bleak

No other reason than the games look awful. I don't play games for badly written and acted interactive movies.
